Golf Course Brief: Located just outside Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, Stonehouse is laid over wild, tumbling hills near the York River in the Tidewater Region. Colonial Williamsburg in an area of great natural beauty of virgin hardwoods, mountain laurels, old-growth hollies and where wildlife abounds. The course winds over steep forested hills, wide plateaus, and abrupt ravines. The fairways were carved out of valleys, and the greens sit atop cliffs. It also features seventy-foot elevation changes tee to fairway, large-scale bunkers, spring-fed creeks and deep-cut ravines. But, against this exciting backdrop, the danger of deep bunkers and long carries is balanced by the relative safety of broad fairways and enormous putting greens. It is a mountain-style course and you will be faced with an array of options, some manageable, some overwhelming but all a great golf experience.

Meeting, Events and Outings: On staff full time events coordinator. We can accommodate up to 144 golfers with a shotgun start, plus an option of tee-time starts for small to medium sized groups.
