In 1991, golf course architect Rees Jones linked his name forever with
the North Carolina Sandhills when he debuted the Talamore Golf Club
(designated Best New Course In The South by Golf Digest). The Talamore
Golf Villas were constructed shortly after the club’s opening and match the
integrity of the course.
The second facility added to the Talamore Golf Resort was the Mid South
Club (formerly Pinehurst Plantation). A private club, Mid South features a
fantastic layout designed by Arnold Palmer. The Lodges at Mid South offer
